Staff Accountant II
Job Description
PURPOSE OF POSITION:
Staff Accountant II is responsible for helping the Accounting Department maintain financial processes and procedures and providing company leaders with valuable analysis to drive positive company performance. This position reports directly to the Corporate Controller.
EDUCATION:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance required.

- General Accounting:
- Journal Entries
- Month End Processes
- Balance Sheet Reconciliations
- Financial Reporting and Analysis
- Accounts Receivable:
- Billing
- Receipts Application
- Customer File Maintenance
- Customer Collections
- Accounts Payable:
- Supplier Invoice Processing and File Maintenance
- Disbursements – ACH and Check
- Expense Reimbursement Tracking
- AMEX Reconciliation
- Payroll Accounting:
- Payroll Journal Entries
- Namely Report Management
- 401k Funding Requests
- Fixed Assets Accounting:
- Asset Management
- Depreciation
- Fleet Management
- Gas Card JE’s
- Other Duties as Needed/Assigned
EXPERIENCE & SKILLS:
- One (1) year of experience as a Staff Accountant.
- Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.
- Proficiency with MS Office products including Excel and Teams.
- Ability to apply logic and problem-solve.
- Effective time management.
- Reliable and trustworthy team-player with a positive attitude.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS OF THE ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Sitting, talking, hearing, and vision are required 90% of the time. Standing
and walking are required less than 95% of the time. Feeling is required 75% of
the time, while pushing, pulling, twisting, and reaching are required less than
10% of the time. Low levels of lifting (10 pounds or less) is required about 5%
of the time, while medium levels of lifting and carrying (20 to 50 pounds) are
required less than 5% of the time. This job description does not necessarily
