The Role

The Staff Accountant III is an energetic collaborator with an adaptable communication style and a passion for continuous improvement. The Staff Accountant III will support the accounting department by building strong relationships, contributing to special projects, and researching operational accounting questions. A strong candidate for this role is self-motivated with a drive for achieving results and a desire for understanding complex operations and ideas.

Your Impact

The primary functions of this role, include but are not limited to:

• Preparing complex reconciliations and journal entries
• Assist in the Global Consolidation Process
• Preparing schedules for both internal and external financial reporting
• Communicating with business partners to ensure accurate accounting treatment of transactions
• Producing quarterly audit schedules
• Working on important accounting and organizational projects

Who You Are

• Able to prioritize tasks and has excellent attention to detail

We'd love to hear from people with

• 3-5 years of accounting experience (inventory experience a plus)
• Bachelor's degree in accounting or finance preferred (CPA a plus)
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and ability to apply GAAP
• Proficient in Microsoft applications
• Large, Multi-National Public Company and / or Big Four experience a plus
• Experience with Oracle, Hyperion, and Blackline is a plus

The salary range posted reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for this role in our Goleta, CA location. Individual pay will be determined by location and additional factors, including job related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
