Staff Accountant - Outsourced Accounting

As an Associate in our Outsources Accounting Services (OAS) group, you will be a valued member of our team and will build relationships with our outsourcing clients. How you will contribute:

Dedicating time to client service while coordinating work for our clients in the following areas:

• General ledger and process accounts payable
• Account/bank reconciliations and depreciation schedule preparation
• Monthly and year-end closing assistance
• Assist with Preparing and reviewing monthly financial statements
• Digital accounting outsourcing
• QuickBooks consulting and assistance with accounting system design
• Assisting with the training of clients, staff, and other OAS personnel

Minimum Qualifications:

• Associates degree or higher in accounting, finance or other business-related field or a minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger, or staff accounting
• Applicants for positions with Forvis Mazars must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience working with QuickBooks, QuickBooks Online, PROCAS, Unanet, Deltek, Intacct, or similar general ledger software package
