Staff Accountant

Our CPA firm is hiring for an Accountant/Tax Preparer. If you think you might be a fit, be part of our ongoing success! WHAT YOU WILL DO: Full-cycle bookkeeping including: monthly journal entries, bank and general ledger reconciliations. Prepare indiviual, corporate, partnership and other tax returns. Maintain fixed asset records; including depreciation schedules. WHAT YOU WILL HAVE: 4 plus years in Full-cycle accounting including; General Ledger, fixed assets, bank reconciliations, and month-end closing. Bachelor's Degree in Accounting/Tax (recommended) 4 plus years experienced in Tax Program Software. (We use Lacerte) Experience in preparing Financial Statements, Payroll Reports, and annual 1099's. Proficiency in QuickBooks. (QB Pro Advisor a plus) Strong verbal and written communicaiton skills. Ability to work in a fast paced, dynamic environment with minimal supervision and multiple deadlines. The right candidate will be detail oriented with a strong work ethic and excellent commumication skills.
