Staff Accountant (Remote)

ResMed SaaS is looking to add a Staff Accountant to our Accounting team. The Staff Accountant primarily handles review and analysis of accounts for journal entry preparation for month end close and account reconciliation. Our ideal candidate is detail and deadline oriented, has exceptional time management skills and proven success performing account analysis and reconciliation.

As our Staff Accountant, you will:

• Perform general ledger account research and analysis. Recognize and acts upon inaccurate postings, accruals and invoices without requiring supervision.
• Ensure that revenue recognition and general ledger postings are accurate.
• Communicate effectively over the phone and in writing.
• Perform account analysis and reconciliations as needed.
• Coordinate with various departments and take the lead to capture accurate information needed.
• Answer accounting procedure questions by researching and interpreting accounting policy and regulations.
• Maintains financial integrity by following internal controls.
• Assist with internal and external audits as needed.
• Take on special projects as necessary.

Skills and Experience needed for the Staff Accountant position:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, or currently enrolled and seeking accounting degree
• 2-3 years of experience in accounting business setting environment
• Knowledge of standard concepts, practice and procedures of accounting
• Initiative and intuitive instincts
• The ability to proactively research questionable work, and find resolutions
• Ability to meet all month end close timeline schedules
• Intermediate experience with Excel
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Detail-oriented with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience with NetSuite preferred

Subject to the absolute discretion of the company, this role is eligible for an annual cash bonus payment based on company, business unit, and/or individual performance.

Base Pay Range for this position:

27.08 - 33.85 - 40.62 USD Hourly

For remote positions located outside of the US, pay will be determined based the candidate's geographic work location, relevant qualifications, work experience, and skills.
