Staff Accountant - Reporting

Impact XM develops solutions for virtual and live events. We are looking for a Staff Accountant - Reporting to join our team. Applies principles of accounting to analyze financial information and prepare financial reports by performing the following duties.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Reports and analyzes departmental operational and financial information including overall profit and loss, staff absorption, project gross margin, and costing.
• Writes monthly reports summarizing departmental financial performance.
• Shadowing the CFO, develops relationships with work center managers and participates in monthly financial reviews offering guidance, clarity and financial support aimed at enhancing profit performance.
• Develops departmental budgets for 2023 and updates periodically.
• Maintains and updates monthly actual and budgeted payroll and freelance cost detail by departmental.
• Assists in efforts to streamline monthly reporting using Excel or other tools.
• Prepares Weekly Sales and Working Capital Reports for management.

REQUIREMENTS & SKILLS:

Bachelor's degree (B. A.) or equivalent from four-year College or technical school; or five years related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of Excel Spreadsheet software and Microsoft Office Word Processing software, Microsoft PowerPoint and Outlook.
