Staff Accountant

Staff Accountant Needed for Growing company in Long Beach, CA! About Us: We are a fast-growing, design-forward furniture store located in the heart of Santa Monica. We're looking for a detail-orientedStaff Accountantwith strongAccounts Payable (AP)experience to join our finance team and support our daily operations. Key Responsibilities: • Manage full-cycle Accounts Payable processes, including invoice entry, approvals, and timely payments • Reconcile vendor statements and resolve discrepancies promptly • Maintain accurate AP records and ensure compliance with internal policies • Assist with month-end close activities including accruals and AP aging reports • Communicate effectively with vendors and internal departments regarding payment inquiries • Support general accounting functions such as bank reconciliations and expense tracking • Help implement and streamline AP processes for efficiency and scalability • Ensure all financial records are audit-ready and properly filed Qualifications: • 3+ years of hands-on Accounts Payable experience (retail or manufacturing industry preferred) • Strong understanding of accounting principles and AP best practices • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, NetSuite, or similar ERP systems) • Excellent Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, pivot tables, etc.) • High attention to detail and accuracy • Strong organizational and time management skills • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced retail environment • Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (preferred) Location:Long Beach, CA Salary:$65,000–$80,000 hour (DOE) Job Type:Full-Time | On-Site IND1 Job Type: Full-time Pay: $65,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year Benefits: • 401(k) • 401(k) matching • Dental insurance • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Schedule: • 8 hour shift • Day shift • Monday to Friday Work Location: In person
