What You’ll Do
- Define the next generation ML/DL accelerator architecture and memory-centric computation architecture for on-device machine learning applications.
- Identify and solve multi-discipline ML acceleration problems, especially with memory bottlenecks, involving algorithms, network design, hardware architecture.
- Attend conferences, interact with academic researchers and stay updated with latest research advancements in the field of ML acceleration.
- Explore various trade-offs of future architecture designs in terms of performance, power, cost, and area.
- Initiate and develop a new feature/acceleration modeling in the architecture simulator.
- Work with the Compiler and Software engineers to drive software/hardware co-design and optimize for heterogeneous architecture.
- Work with researchers and application developers to enable the latest machine learning work to optimize performance.
- Prototype a new acceleration architecture/algorithm on FPGA platforms.

What You Bring
- BS + 10 years experience, MS + 8 year of experience, PhD + 5 years experience in Electrical Engineering, Computer Science or related.
- Relevant work or academic research experience in computer or chip architecture, performance, and/or compiler.
- Solid understanding of DNN acceleration architectures and their key performance tradeoffs.
- Familiarity with state-of-the-art DNN workloads and their compute and memory requirements.
- Experience with TensorFlow, PyTorch, or similar machine learning toolsets.
- Experience with one or more general purpose programming languages including C/C++ or Python.
- Experience with ML, graphics or computer vision accelerator.
- Self-motivated problem-solver with an ability to work well in a team.
- Ability to meet aggressive project deadlines in a team environment.
- Must be highly motivated with excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work successfully with cross-functional teams, including coordinating across organizational boundaries and geographies
- Track record of innovation and creativity in problem solving
