Staff Backend Engineer

Honor seeks a seasoned Backend Engineer to shape the architectural foundation of our next-generation operations tools. You'll take a lead role in driving the technical strategy, directly influencing our internal processes and business efficiency. Your ability to envision scalable systems, champion their development, and foster engineering excellence will be instrumental in achieving Honor's strategic goals.

Responsibilities

• Architectural Leadership: Design and independently architect robust, scalable backend systems in Python that anticipate future growth and meet the evolving needs of operations.
• Strategic Vision: Influence the product roadmap for operations tools, proactively identifying how backend systems can drive better decision-making and streamlined operations across the company.
• Technical Guidance: Collaborate with and mentor other engineers to provide technical direction and facilitate team efficiency.
• Stakeholder Partnership: Actively engage with operations teams to deeply understand their pain points, propose innovative technical solutions, and influence overall process improvement.
• Iterative & Adaptive Approach: Maintain an iterative development cycle while strategically balancing near-term needs with the long-term technical health of the platform.
• React Frontend Proficiency: Ensure seamless integration with our React frontend.
