Staff Data Platform Engineer

Job Responsibilities:

• Design and implement the state of the art data pipeline and simulation infrastructure for Autonomous Driving solutions.

• Work closely with cross-functional teams to ship data products on time with quality.

• Identify, design, and implement internal process improvements: automating manual processes, optimizing data delivery, re-designing infrastructure for greater scalability, etc.

• Participate in planning, design and code reviews.

Minimum Skill Requirements:

• MS in Computer Science or equivalent (in lieu of degree, relevant work experience). 5+ years of working experience in building large scale distributed systems.

• 1+ years experience in technical leadership roles.

• Proficient in Python, JavaScript or C++, hands-on experience with Django, React etc.

• Working knowledge of relational and NoSQL database systems.

• Ability to move quickly and work directly with customers for feedback.

• Passionate about self-driving technology; excellent communication skills and strong teamwork spirit.

Preferred Skill Requirements:

• Hands-on experience of working in cloud environments such as AWS, Azure etc.

• Experience working with Docker and Kubernetes.

The base salary range for this full-time position is $180,000 - $300,000, in addition to bonus, equity and benefits. Our salary ranges are determined by role, level, and location. The range displayed on each job posting reflects the minimum and maximum target for new hire salaries for the position across all US locations. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
