To expand our capabilities and develop new features end-to-end, we are looking for an experienced Staff Data Scientist for a product-focused Data Science team based primarily in San Francisco. Team data scientists will design, prototype, implement, test, and document machine learning and optimization solutions to airline and air cargo problems.

  • You will deliver insight from analysis that provides quantitative support to product feature decision making.
  • You will work with managers and domain experts to translate business objectives and requirements into functioning code related to feature engineering and model training/inference.
  • You will act as a member of FLYR’s global data science organization, providing technical guidance and advice to other team members, and fostering a culture of collaboration and knowledge-sharing.
What To Pack For This Trip (Qualifications)

  • 5+ Years of demonstrated experience delivering innovative data science work into commercial product offerings using Machine Learning.
  • Ability to clearly communicate status, blockers, risks and dependencies to the team and internal partners.
  • Intellectually curious and driven to continually learn and expand your skill set.
  • Interested in hands-on projects for overhauling the airline and travel industry.
Optional Carry-On (Preferred Qualifications)
