Position: Staff Engineer Design Verification (Wilmington, Massachusetts)

Duties: Work with digital and analog designers, algorithm engineers and software developers to implement state-of-the-art mixed-signal technology IP cores. Collaborate with design teams and software/firmware development teams to capture the intended operation and configuration of the system. Work closely with digital design engineers to perform RTL and gate-level simulation debug and analysis. Develop SystemVerilog UVM simulation environments, infrastructure and verification plans at both full chip and block level. Perform design verification using UVM methodologies. Verify logic circuit functionality by writing test-benches and regression tests at both the sub-block level and the top level. Develop system-level test cases using ARM processors. Create, simulate and debug constrained random and directed cases based on the verification plans. Create verification IP and enhance verification methodologies. Write functional coverage, assertions, and other metrics to track progress and completeness of verification effort. Conduct regressions analyses, including debugging of circuit failures in regression testing Running structural simulations with post-layout timing information. Measure and analyze coverage results, and take necessary actions to fill the coverage gaps. Position is primarily based at the Wilmington, MA office. Partial telecommute benefit (2 days WFH).

Requirements: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related technical discipline including Computer or Electronics Engineering (will accept foreign education equivalent) and five (5) years' of experience as an electronics engineer or experience designing, reviewing, implementing, and documenting digital verification test plans. Specific skills/other requirements - Demonstrated Expertise (quantitative experience requirements not applicable to this section): Demonstrated expertise (DE) Performing verification using SystemVerilog and UVM methodology; (DE) Running Verilog ang Gate Level simulations, viewing waveforms, and debugging designs; (DE) Generating and analyzing code- and functional-coverage metrics; (DE) Developing and maintaining regular regressions; and (DE) Designing and integrating reusable verification components using SystemVerilog and UVM.
