Accountabilities:

  • Architect systems for value, conducting requirements analysis, trade studies, and convergent/divergent solution exploration to deliver architectures that meet client and organizational objectives.
  • Drive cross-functional alignment, coordinating engineering disciplines to ensure smooth handoff from architecture to detailed design and development.
  • Champion organizational growth, mentoring staff, establishing processes, and fostering a culture of curiosity, continuous learning, and technical excellence.
  • Own the outcome of early engagements, partnering with business development to balance near-term execution with long-term strategic goals.
  • Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Physics, or Mathematics; advanced degree preferred.
  • 15+ years of engineering experience, with extensive exposure to client-facing roles, system architecture, and technical leadership.
  • Proven ability to analyze and solve complex problems, evaluate alternative solutions, and make critical technical judgments.
  • Deep knowledge of systems engineering principles, including requirements development, architecture definition, and trade-off analysis in ambiguous environments.
  • Strong strategic and technical communication skills, capable of engaging senior stakeholders and mentoring internal teams.
  • Experience with custom electronics and multidisciplinary systems, demonstrating successful delivery of complex projects.
  • U.S. work authorization required, including eligibility for export-controlled projects.
  • Willingness to work on-site in Redmond, Washington, USA (40 hours/week).
  • Benefits:
  • Compensation range: $176,090–$209,110 plus equity incentive plan.
  • Flexible work hours with on-site work in Redmond, WA.
  • 100% employer-paid health insurance (Medical, Dental, Vision) for employees; 50% coverage for dependents.
  • Unlimited PTO, 11 paid company holidays, 12 paid sick days.
  • 401(k) retirement plan with Safe Harbor 4% employer match.
