Staff Engineer, Product Transfer
Job Description
What you will do-
As a Staff Process Engineer, Product Transfer in Redmond, WA you will work with PCBA design and manufacturing processes. You will support our Product Transfer team being a Key Enabler of transformation, delivering on "cost out" opportunities to become a global competitive advantage.
Additional responsibilities:
- Support the execution of assigned project elements with an emphasis on the manufacturing process, technology and procedures required for the manufacture of transferred products.
- Provide engineering support for product and process introductions at suppliers, ensuring that all activities are completed and documented in accordance with the Stryker quality procedures.
- Ensure quality of process and product as defined in the appropriate operation and material specifications.
- Will assist in the selection of components and equipment based on analysis of specifications, reliability, and regulatory requirements.
- Support capital acquisition activities.
- Will analyze equipment to establish operating data, conduct experimental test and result analysis. Participate in process review meetings.
- Participate in PFMEA, Control Plan, SOP and PPAP generation associated with product transfers and launches.
- Complete capability studies for in process inspection and generate subsequent Inspection documentation.
- Ensure adherence to GMP and safety procedures.
- Will be responsible for leading product and/or component manufacturing transfers.

What you need
- B.S in Electrical Engineering or related engineering discipline required
- 4+ years of experience required
- Good understanding of Design for Manufacturing (DFM), related statistical tools and validation/verification techniques required
- Good knowledge of manufacturing processes, materials, product and process design required
- Experience with PCBA manufacturing required
- Experience in executing complex problem-solving techniques related to manufacturing/design technical issues required
$95-155k salary plus bonus eligible + Benefits (Health, Vision, Dental, 401K, Tuition Reimbursement, Employee Assistance Program, Wellbeing Program, Employee Stock Purchase Program). This information reflects the anticipated salary range for this position based on current national data. Actual minimum and maximum may vary based on location. Individual pay is based on skills, experience, and other relevant factors.
Travel Percentage: 30%
