Staff Engineer, Site Reliability

Responsibilities

• Design and develop global cloud with very stringent scalability and availability requirements
• Hands on contribution for developing tools, addressing production issues
• Keen eye for improving scale and performance while reducing the overall infrastructure cost
• Influence engineering architecture and engineering process improvements to maintain 99.99% SLA
• As and when possible strive to automate remediation of production issues as much as possible
• Automation of remediation 

Requirements:

• Must have 7+ years of experience with AWS where you have built and ran large scale production environment
• Deep experience with developing, and operating automated Cloud infrastructure on AWS 
• Must have handled a robust production environment
• Excellent programming skills (Python/Go)
• Excellent understanding of systems design
• Expert level experience with monitoring and observability
• Solid knowledge of containers,  K8S
• Solid experience with Terraform
• Strong experience with continuous integration (CI/CD)
• Deep understanding of various compliance standards (PII,  PCI,  SOC2, GDPR)

The annual cash compensation for this role is: $152,000 - $240,000 USD.
