Job Description:

• Analyze users’ needs and design, test, and develop software solutions to meet those needs.
• Recommend software upgrades for Samsung customers’ existing programs and applications.
• Design and develop new services and framework on Android to support the company’s enterprise needs.
• Collaborate with SRA’s design teams to develop comprehensive Android user experience and deliver engaging user interfaces.
• Maintain and support the company’s existing service, application and Android frameworks.
• Analyze and troubleshoot software issues and defects in product functionalities and improve performance.
• Participate in multiple aspects of the software development lifecycle.
• Identify technical obstacles early and work closely with the team to find creative solutions.
• Study the latest industry and technology trends in mobile technology.
• Leverage his findings to improve the company’s product quality and develop new solutions.

Minimum Education & Experience Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Computer Management, Computer Information Systems, a related field, or a foreign equivalent, plus 5 years of progressively responsible post baccalaureate experience in job offered or related role.

Applicants must have 5 years of experience in the following:

• Mobile operating systems and application and framework development including Android, iOS, and Tizen
• C, C++, and Java
• Developing new Android applications services and frameworks
• Managing and extending existing application, service, frameworks which are written on Java
• Analyzing implementing changes on need basis on native libraries, Open source projects and utilities written in C and C++
• Objective-C
• Networking (TCP/IP) & socket programing
• Database (SQL, SQLLite)
• Android Studio, Firebase, and Firebase cloud messaging (FCM)
• Android SDK and NDK. 5-10% domestic and international travel required
