Job Duties: This position is also known as Staff System Applications Engineer. Manage the technical design and development of AI-driven sound and vibration recognition systems, in collaboration with multi-disciplined teams. Drive the deployment and evolution of AI systems in the field, collaborating with customers and collaborators. Provide architecting services to customers and system-integrators for integrating AI-driven sound and vibration recognition systems with customer's industrial system. Evaluate new technologies and build roadmaps to augment current AI-based sound and vibration recognition systems. Develop domain expertise with critical mass in targeted vertical industrial applications. Contribute to technology and business development strategies by providing consulting services to senior management, marketing organization, and sales organization. Mentor junior-level engineers. Support presentation of these systems to events, trade shows, internal and external conferences.

Job Requirements: Master's degree (or foreign educational equivalent) in Electrical Engineering or other relevant technical discipline such as Electronics or Software Engineering with a focus in Acoustics or Signal Processing, plus 3 years of experience, gained at any time, in each of the following: developing and deploying AI-based system solutions for the industry; engineering project management: requirements, planning, deliverables, reports; instrumentation and data acquisition techniques in acoustics and vibration; scientific programming (algorithms, data processing) with MATLAB and/or Python; close collaboration with multi-disciplined teams (Marketing, Software, R&D); and direct interactions with customers and suppliers for engineering project management, technical consulting, and technical support. Must have solid oral, written, and presentation communication skills to efficiently communicate across a global organization where success is highly dependent on collaboration and effective communication. All experience may have been gained concurrently. May work from home 2 days per week.

Compensation: $152,000 to $165,000 per year (depending on qualifications).
