Staff Finance Systems Analyst/Developer (NetSuite)
The Staff Finance Systems Analyst/Developer is an integral part of the team that envisions, builds and implements the software, features, automation, and integrations which power Fastly’s financial operations. We are looking for a techno-functional NetSuite expert to apply their advanced configuration and coding talents to solving constantly evolving business needs. You will have the opportunity to craft high quality technical solutions in multiple integrated SaaS tools and collaborate across a wide range of teams to make a direct impact on the success of a dynamically growing company. This role is supported by the Director, Finance Systems.
What You'll Do:
- Design, test and deploy SaaS tools and customizations to enhance business processes across multiple financial systems with NetSuite as the core ERP
- Develop and maintain custom script and workflow solutions using modern coding practices
- Build and manage integrations between multiple systems including NetSuite, Aria, Coupa, Stripe, Xactly, Avalara, SimpleLegal and Adaptive Insights
- Collaborate on high-impact, cross-functional initiatives including solving data mapping and building integrations across NetSuite/Salesforce/engineering systems, developing and migrating all billing functionality to NetSuite, full lifecycle implementation of a new ratings engine and full lifecycle implementation of new P2P functionality
- Translate business needs into creative and effective technical solutions
- Communicate and collaborate with users, stakeholders and other technical resources to develop scalable solutions, implement enhancement requests and address system errors to maintain the smooth functioning of business operations
- Improve the overall quality and completeness of both technical and end-user documentation
What We're Looking For:
- ~7+ years experience working on multiple financial systems driving technical development, automation, and optimization
- ~5+ years experience with NetSuite OneWorld administration, configuration, and 3rd party integrations
- At least 1 year experience writing and managing NetSuite scripts, workflows and integrations using SuiteScript, SuiteFlows, Web Services/SuiteTalk or other related tools
- Curious spirit with a passion for excellence, an eagerness to contribute their unique perspective and who thrives in an dynamically evolving business environment
- Strong analytical skills, high level attention to detail and an intuitive understanding of business systems
- The ability to adeptly communicate with non-technical partners in a manner that is clear and relevant for them
- In-depth business process knowledge in areas of order to cash, procure to pay, and record to report
- Experience working in a public company, developing solutions to adhere to SOX controls
We’ll be super impressed if you have experience in any of these:
- NetSuite Administrator and/or Web Services Developer certification
- Prior experience supporting usage/consumption based billing
- Experience deploying technical solutions within one or more of the following: Adaptive Insights, Aria, Avalara, Coupa, Floqast, LeaseQuery, Salesforce, SimpleLegal, Strongpoint, Stripe, Tesorio, Workato or Xactly
Work Hours: This position will require you to be available during core business hours.

Fastly currently embraces a largely hybrid model for most roles which allows employees flexibility to split their time between the office and home.
Salary:
The estimated salary range for this position is $132,060 to $194,210.
Starting salary may vary based on permissible, non-discriminatory factors such as experience, skills, qualifications, and location.
This role may be eligible to participate in Fastly’s equity and discretionary bonus programs.
