Staff Frontend Software Engineer

You have 7+ years of professional experience writing and maintaining production-level applications.

• You’ve worked with modern CSS, JavaScript, and JavaScript frameworks, such as React, Vue, or Angular.
• You take care to write code that works across browsers and platforms.
• You seek out the root cause when debugging software defects, and champion improvements that prevent future issues.
• You’re an advocate for testing, and are able to articulate the value of each part of the testing pyramid.

You take pride in crafting an intuitive and delightful customer experience.

• You work well with designers and product managers to come up with optimal solutions. 
• You enjoy finessing the details to get to pixel-perfect layouts.
• You care about consistency across products and love design systems with shared components.

You enjoy taking an active role in the development process.

• You love mentoring and supporting other software engineers who are newer to the industry.
• You have experience taking the lead in planning and executing the development roadmap for software projects.

Continuous Performance Mission: Engage both managers and employees in the continuous creation of meaningful signals in order to facilitate efficient and objective Performance decisions. Our tools facilitate a feedback loop between managers and direct reports that ensures conversations continuously happen related to goals, feedback, recognition, and development. 

• You’ll work within a cross-functional team partnering together from ideation to developing proof of concepts and ultimately launching a product for our customers.
• You'll work with other engineers to develop creative solutions to challenges building 0 to 1 products or iterating on a mature product to make it more scalable and maintainable.
• As a leader, you'll collaborate closely with leadership to ensure we are gathering & documenting requirements, staffing the team with complementary skills, and building a strategy that enables quick iteration.
• You’ll work with other engineers to build and own products across a modern tech stack. Our current stack includes React, Relay Modern, GraphQL, Node, and PostgreSQL. We rely on AWS to host our infrastructure.
• You’ll provide substantial mentorship to less experienced colleagues, helping to refine their technical craft and expand their knowledge.
• You’ll make contributions to our engineering practices, identifying and evangelizing improvements to improve our team output.
