Staff Full-Stack Engineer

As a Staff Full-Stack Engineer at Alfred, you will be part of a cross-functional, agile team that focuses on developing state-of-the-art applications - React for Web and React Native for Mobile - that allows Building Operators to run residential buildings efficiently, and Residents to promote modern living.

You will play an important role in helping shape our stack together with other senior engineers. You will practice an Agile and iterative development approach that focuses on constant experimentation to drive effective decisions. 

Please note that we will begin interviewing for this role in mid-March with an estimated start sometime in Q2 of 2023.

• Implement front-end features
• Design APIs and data-models
• Write tested and efficient code that ensures data reliability
• Document your work and investigations

• Work with Product and Design to identify software solutions to business challenges
• Mentor and learn from your teammates and foster an inclusive, empowering team dynamic

• You have at least 8 years of experience as a Full-Stack Engineer or in a similar role
• Experience in collaborating with Designers and Product Managers in an agile environment

• An innate curiosity and an open mind. You're able to learn new tools and technologies quickly. Our stack includes: Typescript, Go, Python, React, React Native, Postgres, MongoDB, Docker, and Kubernetes

• Experience with NestJs, NodeJS, React and React Native
• Experience with writing API code
• Experience with Postgres DB
• Domain knowledge or prior experience in the Real Estate problem space
