Staff Full-Stack Engineer - Workflow

Ridgeline is looking for an experienced, full-stack engineer, with an emphasis on front-end skills. 

As a member of the Platform team, you will design and expand business critical services that orchestrate across Ridgeline’s microservice architecture. As a full-stack developer you will work with a Python/React stack on AWS. Having an emphasis on front-end will be essential to building user experiences that enable intuitively configuring complex business workflows.

Our team aims to provide key differentiator functionality to the asset management industry that leverages our single-solution (Ridgeline) approach to a complex industry.

What will you do?

• Design and implement the UI for a new Workflow Engine to enable customers to configure a workflow that includes complex conditionals and parallel steps
• Work cross-functionally to understand requirements and translate them into UI design and implementation
• Share in the ownership of several highly-available microservices (from front to back)
• Think creatively, own problems, seek solutions, and communicate clearly across our product & engineering team
• Contribute to a collaborative environment rooted in learning, teaching, and transparency
• Write quality code, tests, peer review comments, and technical design documents

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience building with AWS (e.g. Cloudformation, Lambda, RDS)
• 5+ years building web experiences, with a focus on front-end/UI
• 3+ years experience working in React
• 2+ years experience working in Python
• Ability to collaborate with product management to efficiently deliver a great user experience
• A team player with an interest in leveling up those around you

Nice to Have

• Experience with Temporal.io
• Experience with event driven architectures
• Experience with a Business Process Management tool
• Experience with containerization

Compensation and Benefits 

[For New York and California Based Only]

The cash compensation amount for this role is targeted at $160,000-$180,000 for individuals based in New York and California. Final compensation amounts are determined by multiple factors, including candidate experience and expertise, and may vary from the amount listed above.
