Applied Research Associates (ARA), Inc. is looking for a skilled Staff Graphic Designer to join the Integrated Missions System Sector in Raleigh, NC. You will be leading the design of proposal elements for one of our fastest-growing sectors. The ideal candidate will have a proven ability to translate complex ideas into visually compelling and easy-to-understand graphics and layouts. You will collaborate with technical teams, managers, and the corporate marketing team to develop designs that support the messaging and strategy needs of proposals, presentations, and other business development documents while remaining cohesive with ARA brand standards.

What you'll do as a Staff Graphic Designer:

  • Translate technical and strategic concepts into high-quality designs and layouts within an established brand identity
  • Design print and digital materials to include presentations, proposals, presentations, flyers, infographics, banners, and other items as needed
  • Understand and implement compliance requirements from government-issued solicitation documents and internal brand standards
  • Coordinate with various teams: technical, business development, and management
  • Be a liaison between the Corporate marketing team and units to develop compliant branded designs
  • Remain up-to-date with new graphic design technologies, industry trends, and best practices
  • Hybrid Opportunity Available to support teams at our Raleigh, NC office

Staff Graphic Designer Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree along with 2-4 years of relevant experience, equivalent professional experience (at least 8 years) will be considered for talented candidates without a degree.
  • Must have proven expertise with Adobe Creative Suite and Microsoft software (PowerPoint, Word, Excel, InDesign, Illustrator, and Photoshop)
  • Strong experience with developing presentations is required
  • Experience with SharePoint and web-based content management systems is preferred
  • Strong organizational and administrative skills
  • Must be able to manage multiple design projects simultaneously, ensuring timely delivery of high-quality work while meeting deadlines
