What you get to do in this role:

  • Technical Expertise & Deep Engagement: Roll up your sleeves to actively dive into datasets, engage in intricate technical discussions with engineers, displaying robust expertise in data-related matters. Advocate for superior technical solutions based on deep understanding and evaluation.
  • Collaboration & Coordination: Forge and maintain strong partnerships with data analysts, engineers, and other product managers, ensuring synchronized product development. Coordinate efforts between product management teams and analytics and data engineering teams, serving as the bridge for effective collaboration and streamlined operations.
  • Data Analysis & Insights: Collaborate directly with data teams to extract valuable insights. Use these insights to validate assumptions and champion data-driven decisions that inform product and feature development across all products and product development efforts.
  • Project Ownership: Lead data and analytics initiatives from inception to fruition. Guarantee timely delivery, superior quality, and proactive mitigation of potential challenges.
  • Product Roadmap: Shape and drive the strategic vision not just for the data platform but for analytics related to all product development efforts, aligning deliverables with both business and technological aspirations.


Qualifications
To be successful in this role you have:

  • Educational Background: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related domain. A Master's or higher is advantageous.
  • Industry Experience: A minimum of 7-10 years in the tech ecosystem, with an accentuated focus on product management positions within data and analytics.
  • Technical Depth: Proven ability in navigating large datasets, comprehending intricate data architectures, and spearheading technical projects. Should be ready to delve into the weeds and engage in granular technical dialogues when necessary.
  • Communication Prowess: Ability to distill intricate issues into comprehensible components, proactively ask pertinent questions, and adeptly identify core challenges and objectives. Skill in elucidating complex data-driven concepts to a broad audience, from engineers to business stakeholders.
  • Entrepreneurial Mindset: We're seeking a self-starter with a 'can-do' attitude who can navigate complex situations with ease and possesses an entrepreneurial flair, always looking for opportunities to innovate and drive forward.
  • Technical Acumen: Profound mastery over contemporary data platforms, tools, and technologies. Experience with natural language processing technologies, text processing, and exposure to support systems will be a significant plus. Experience with data visualization tools like PowerBI, will be a strong advantage.

For positions in California (outside of the Bay Area), we offer a base pay of $136,800 - $239,400, plus equity (when applicable), variable/incentive compensation and benefits. Sales positions generally offer a competitive On Target Earnings (OTE) incentive compensation structure. Please note that the base pay shown is a guideline, and individual total compensation will vary based on factors such as qualifications, skill level, competencies and work location. We also offer health plans, including flexible spending accounts, a 401(k) Plan with company match, ESPP, matching donations, a flexible time away plan and family leave programs (subject to eligibility requirements). Compensation is based on the geographic location in which the role is located, and is subject to change based on work location. For individuals who will be working in the Bay Area, there is a pay enhancement for positions located in that geographical area; please contact your recruiter for additional information.
