The Core Experience team’s mission is for Reddit to have best-in-class UI/UX on every platform.  The only path to success is if every single team at Reddit is building best-in-class UI/UX.  We achieve this by building the tools and frameworks used by every single engineer and designer across the company. 

What We’re Working On

  • Developing SliceKit Reddit’s in house UI framework.  
  • Developing and maintaining Reddit’s design system, a component library paired with UI best practices and tools for our design team to enable teams at Reddit to work faster and at a higher quality bar.  
  • Driving accessibility best practices through our design system components and guidance.
  • Collaborating with engineers and designers across the company, gathering feedback to improve our tools and providing feedback to improve the UI/UX of the features they develop

What We Are Looking For

  • Expertise in Swift with 8+ years of experience within iOS development.
  • Expertise in iOS UI/UX, prior experience working on complex iOS user interfaces.
  • Experience in influencing engineers on technical direction/best practices related to iOS
  • Experience working with cross-functional teams such as design, product, data teams to deliver great user experiences.
