Staff iOS Engineer - Mobile Architecture

What you’ll do:

As part of our Mobile Architecture team, your goal will be to help accelerate execution and delivery, increasing developer experience and help with our core strategy to scale. 

• You will design, build, and own core functionality that helps other teams scale and accelerate execution, such as design systems, reusable components, performance monitoring and development tools. 
• You will define the roadmap that supports the mobile strategy of scaling as an organization.
• You will be a technical leader with substantial autonomy who will work to enable collaboration and high velocity execution, with technical excellence.
• Design development and testing tools that move quality to the left and help accelerate our product teams. 
• Partner with the Service Delivery team to guide the roadmap and solutions needed for our CI/CD infrastructure.
• Build with testing best practices to enable us to iterate quickly

What you’ll bring:

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science/Engineering/related field or equivalent professional experience.
• +8 years of experience as a software engineer in the tech industry, and building products at scale.
• +5 years of experience developing native mobile applications and working within a team environment.
• Expertise in programming skills and up-to-date knowledge of Swift and/or Objective-C.
• Core expertise in areas of the iOS SDK and deep understanding of UIKit.
• Experience leading teams, mentoring colleagues, and managing technical projects.
• A driven mobile software engineer that is motivated to build great software and a great codebase in a fast-paced environment.
• Excellent communication skills. You collaborate effectively with other developers and cross-functional teams in different organizations to discuss complex topics with technical and non-technical audiences.
• Strong analytical thinking and ability to make data-driven decisions.
• Independent and can manage your own projects and time with ease, all the while setting and managing stakeholder expectations.
• Experience of building with Redux or other unidirectional state management paradigms (is a plus). 
• Experience with Combine or other Rx frameworks (is a plus). 
• Previous experience with SwiftUI (is a plus). 
• Interest in or experience with functional programming concepts (is a plus). 
• Experience with any CI/CD system, such as Gitlab, Jenkins, TravisCI, Bitrise, or others (is a plus).
