Staff Machine Learning Engineer
Job Description
In this position you will develop a cutting-edge, automated ML platform for the data science team. You will engage with multiple internal teams, including engineering, infrastructure, data science and product. We build for perfection, use Python and the most modern tools on Azure Cloud, have an amazing culture, and love to solve complex problems.
What you'll do:
- Architect, design, and implement our in-house ML platform end-to-end. The ideal candidate has a good engineering background and is familiar with MLOps practices
- Work with data scientists and other engineering teams to prototype and implement product features.
- Communicate effectively with other engineers, product managers, customers, and partners.
What you'll need:
- 7+ years of experience writing production level code in Python/C++/Java
- 3+ years of experience deploying ML models to production
- Master's degree in relevant technical discipline
- Experience with designing, building and deploying scalable ML Platform to support production served ML models
- Strong Understanding of Data Science project lifecycle
- Experience with Python Data Science stack (numpy, scikit-learn, xgboost, lightgbm, pytorch etc.)
- Experience with databases/data warehouses such as SQL Server, PostGreSQL, Snowflake
- Experience with public cloud environments such as Azure or AWS
- Experience with microservices and asynchronous messaging technologies like Kafka, Azure ServiceBus etc.
- Experience with serverless architecture (Azure Functions, AWS Lambda etc.)
- Experience with AzureML is a plus
- Experience with Git, unit testing, debugging, profiling, JIRA, and other tools that are typically used by developers
- To be comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a globally distributed team

ServiceTitan is committed to fair and equitable compensation for all of our employees. We thoughtfully consider a wide range of factors when determining individual compensation. The expected salary range for this role is between $150,000 - $216,000. Actual compensation for an individual may vary depending on skills, performance over time, qualifications, experience, and location. In addition to the base salary, the total compensation package also includes an annual bonus, equity and a holistic suite of benefits.
