Staff Pharmacist (graveyard)

Apex Pharmacy is looking for a part-time or full-time (graveyard) pharmacist to join our team. We are a small family owned pharmacy located in Irwindale, CA. We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced pharmacist who is passionate about providing excellent patient care. Responsibilities • Manage the pharmacy’s front-line pharmacists, including dispensing prescription drugs, refilling prescriptions, and checking in/out patients. • Manage the front-line staff including scheduling, scheduling-out, and staffing. • Provide consultation on a variety of medical topics and assist in the development of medical policies and procedures. • Assist in the evaluation of new medications and new ways to improve patient care. • Assist in the evaluation of new medications and new ways to improve patient care. • Maintain a clean and orderly pharmacy environment that promotes safety and good customer service. Skills • Proven work experience as a pharmacist. • Experience with LTC • In-depth understanding of pharmacy policies and procedures as well as customer service practices. • Excellent knowledge of MS Office, databases, doutrak, QS1, etc. • Excellent communication skills (verbal & written) along with interpersonal skills and teamwork abilities. • Ability to multi-task, prioritize, and manage time effectively. • PharmD required Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem Pay: $60.00 - $65.00 per hour Benefits: • 401(k) • Dental insurance • Employee discount • Flexible schedule • Health insurance • Life insurance • Paid time off • Vision insurance Experience: • LTC: 2 years (Required) License/Certification: • Licensed Pharmacist (Required) Work Location: In person
