Entity: KBRA Holdings
Employment Type: Full-Time

Summary/Overview:
KBRA (KBRA Holdings, LLC) is seeking a Platform Engineer to join our Software Engineering team. (This is a remote position and eligible for those located in any of the states listed above.) The Platform Team is focused on supporting internal engineering teams by creating services and guidance to help them reach their operational goals. The Cloud Management group within the Platform team focuses on cloud governance, security, and provisioning.
About the Team:
The organization operates under a model where small, empowered teams own the things they build from inception through production. The Platform Team was created to provide resources to these teams to enable them to rapidly deploy scalable, observable, reliable, and secure applications. Those resources include shared development tools, platforms to run their application and expertise on building, and running complex distributed systems. Our customers are internal engineering teams and it is our job to help them be successful.
We approach operations as a software engineering problem. All of our work should be captured in source control and changes we have made should be built, tested, deployed, and verified using automated pipelines.
We understand that operational roles can be stressful, so the team works to find creative solutions to achieve healthy work-life balance while meeting the organization's needs. Our current on-call rotation would have you in an on-call rotation. For Cloud Management, we have not had an alert outside of work hours in over six months.
We value learning and make time during the workday for our team members to grow their skillsets.
