Staff Product Designer

Fandom is growing! Our Staff Product Designer opportunity is based in the US, can be a remote role, and reports to our Senior Director of Product Design.

Our Product team is a fan of creating the best products for fans of TV, Movies, Games, and entertainment.

As a Staff Product Designer you will use your creative skills to conceptualize, research, present, and produce quantity and quality design concepts. You care about design and welcome honest feedback. You balance usable designs with smart, creative risks, and are to achieve the most effective solutions.

You will have a big impact on a growing product experience, while working with a diverse team of designers across the world to create a better sense of craft and community at Fandom.

• Play an important in the design and execution of new products and user experiences.
• Validate ideas and design decisions with qualitative and quantitative feedback by conducting and analyzing user research
• Work with engineers, product managers, data analysts, and support teams to define the product and user experience strategy
• Collaborate with designers focused on our web and app experiences to provide a cohesive user experience across our entire product portfolio
• Push the visual and interaction design of Fandom Tabletop products forward and help maintain its cohesion by designing and documenting systems and style guides
• Help shape the Design team culture, influence the way we work, and participate in the hiring process for new talent.
• Lead the end-to-end product development process, to prioritize multiple assignments, present work to company partners, and deliver remarkable creative under deadline.

• A Product Designer with 8+ years of design experience
• Knowledgeable in the latest design technology cross platform
• Someone who loves working collaboratively with a growing design team across Product design
• Communicate across designers and non-designers alike, and explain what problems you're solving for and your design decisions
• Experienced and comfortable validating concepts through research, low and high-fidelity prototyping, and user testing
• Comfortable working the details of your designs at a pixel-perfect level and at a broad conceptual one.
• Someone who thinks at a high level about product strategy, while recognizing how your work impacts it
• Present a portfolio showcasing your and high design caliber

• Experience designing for consumers at a large-scale
• Frequently play tabletop role-playing games

• Salary Range =$143,650.00 - $194,350.00
