We’re looking for exceptional design talent, to join our growing design team. As a Staff Product Designer at Medely, you will define the future of healthcare staffing for our industry-leading healthcare platform.

This opportunity is for a design leader that is also a true artisan. We’re seeking designers that are passionate about working across teams, on high visibility projects, and adapting methods to solving complex challenges with beautifully crafted industry-leading product solutions that drive results for the business. You will be a major contributor to our overall product design strategy in this role.

What you will do:

• Craft industry-leading system architectures, scalable interaction models, core product workflows, and evolve them into highly polished, visually ergonomic, and accessible UI.

• Partner closely with and lead other designers in a remote studio environment, to collaborate and iterate on solutions, and develop and expand product design expertise.

• Present highly considered design concepts, strategies, and rationale with confidence to company leadership.

• Balance technical constraints, customer needs, and business requirements to ship win-win product solutions.

• Partner closely with our operational teams to identify qualitative and quantitative data-driven insights to support concept work, and to conduct studies and customer interviews to validate proposed solutions.

What we are seeking:

• Have a bachelor’s/equivalent degree in Design, HCI, or have 5+ years of combined professional experience in product design.

• Have excellent written and verbal communication skills.

• Have an exceptional portfolio demonstrating strong product design expertise.
  Which will include examples that solve broad open-ended, horizontal cross-team, or deeply complex customer problems, while also delivering results for the business. Work samples should demonstrate expertise and design mastery of a broad range of design methodologies. Including but not limited to problem space and use-case definition, customer journeys, wireframes, product architectures, highly considered design concepts, and final visually complete solutions.

• Have experience in leading design across multiple major feature areas horizontally while also working within a team vertical to confidently bring strong conviction to direction, supported by a clearly articulated rationale for the approach.

• Skilled in presenting and explaining your work, process, decisions, and rationale to cross-functional stakeholders and proactively seeking feedback to deliver world-class design.

• Skillfully balance process and concept fidelity for proposed solutions with self-directed urgency to meet product team and customer objectives.

• Be an enthusiastic collaborator that proactively jumps in, to help colleagues to
  thrive in partnership with product and engineering experts, while driving new ideas and solutions as part of the rhythm.

• Be a system thinker and are able to utilize, curate, and extend shared patterns and behaviors.

• Passionate about the details of craft and delivering world-class design.

• Be uncompromisingly service-minded and able to anticipate the needs of customers and colleagues with empathy.

Compensation Range: $170K - $200K
