We are looking for a Staff Product Manager to join our Services team and help define what comes next for Playstation customers around the world!

The Role:

As part of the Product Services team, you will help to drive key initiatives and projects to grow players acquisition and engagement with our services. The ideal candidate is an experienced Product Manager with technical skills to partner with stakeholders across business, product, design, data & engineering teams to drive clear product vision and effective execution.

This is a high-impact role that demonstrates strong technical, data and business skills to deliver innovative features for our customers and partners across the entire PlayStation platform.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead new product initiatives across the services team portfolio.
  • Leverage market and data trends to craft product strategy. Turn user needs and opportunities into a roadmap, balancing business needs, technical debt, and new features.
  • Lead end-to-end planning, development, and delivery of product and experiences. Define software product requirements documentation and functional specifications for features and application improvements.
  • Collaborate with designers and engineers to identify efficient customer-centric solutions, build end-user prototypes and deliver design specifications for technical implementation.
  • Act as the main point of contact for legal and compliance product questions, issues, and feedback. Work closely with business and legal teams to ensure that all vital legal needs are prioritized and completed accordingly.
  • Partner with business, engineers and product operations to evolve operating and data models throughout a product lifecycle (from conceptualisation to go-to-market).
  • Work with data teams to consistently analyze features usage, experiments results and customer feedback. Enable efficient communication of findings and insights to management, partners and stakeholders.
  • Collaborate with engineers, designers, data scientists, researchers and other product managers to plan resources allocation and drive roadmap execution in the services portfolio.
  • Actively contribute to the team culture and its passion for driving innovation and customer satisfaction.
Required Qualifications, Skills, & Experience:
  • 7+ years of Product Management experience in innovative software and/or services product company.
  • Familiarity with subscriber and loyalty metrics. Comfortable using different types of data to generate customer and business insights. Strong data competence.
  • Ability to break down sophisticated problems into manageable goals and finding simple solutions to meet diverse needs.
  • Games industry experience or media background preferred. Knowledge of gaming business and monetization models a plus.
  • Experience working with business, engineering, data and legal teams.
  • Experience in roadmap and portfolio management.
  • Experience with Agile software development. Knowledge of modern software engineering processes and principles.
  • Strong communication (oral and written), especially in terms of working with different groups of interest and the ability to present ideas to large audiences.
  • Has a track record of project delivery for large, cross-functional, projects. Strong project management skills.

At SIE, we consider several factors when setting each role’s base pay range, including the competitive benchmarking data for the market and geographic location.

Please note that the base pay range may vary in line with our hybrid working policy and individual base pay will be determined based on job-related factors which may include knowledge, skills, experience, and location.

The estimated base pay range for this role is listed below.
$157,000—$235,400 USD
