About the job
Programmable Voice was Twilio's first product and it has grown and changed significantly since its launch in 2008. Twilio is looking for a dedicated Product Manager to help fuel the next 15 years of innovation and growth..
Responsibilities
In this role you’ll:
-
Help developers build the future of Voice interactions using Twilio's APIs and TwiML markup language
-
Provide additional call control layers using Conference and extend multiparty calling capabilities
-
Extend the capabilities of the Programmable Voice Platform with Media Streams to allow developers to build interfaces with third-party applications

Required:
-
Education in a technical field such as engineering computer science mathematics data science or similar.
-
Experience managing API-first products with focus on RESTful interfaces.
-
Experience writing requirements for a software feature or solution for an internal or external customers.
-
Demonstrated experience working with big data sets and using tools such as writing SQL queries sheets or similar.
-
Strong technical analytical and UI/UX design understanding and will roll up sleeves to get the job done.

Ability to speak and write in English fluently.
Desired:
-
Experience independently testing hypotheses and quantifying expected impact by querying internal data sets.
-
Experience or Interest in understanding distributed systems (cloud-scale) architectures.
-
Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM development process with globally-distributed teams and customers.

Experience working with direct sales marketing and defining pricing/packaging.
Location
This role will be remote but is not eligible to be hired in San Francisco CA Oakland CA San Jose CA or the surrounding areas.
Travel
We prioritize connection and opportunities to build relationships with our customers and each other. For this role approximately 10% travel is anticipated to help you connect in-person in a meaningful way.

The estimated pay ranges for this role are as follows:

Based in Colorado or Washington D.C.: $149440.00 - $186800.00.
-
Based in New York Washington State or California (outside of the San Francisco Bay area): $158240.00- $197800.00.
-
Based in the San Francisco Bay area California: $175840.00 - $219800.00.
-
This role may be eligible to participate in Twilio’s equity plan and corporate bonus plan. All roles are eligible for the following benefits: health care insurance 401(k) retirement account paid sick time paid personal time off paid parental leave.
The successful candidate’s starting salary will be determined based on permissible non-discriminatory factors such as skills experience and geographic location within the state.
