Job Description

We are looking for a Staff Program Manager to lead the Mailchimp technology partnerships program team in the delivery of key initiatives. This role is responsible for accelerating delivery of complex capabilities and programs across the partnerships team. We are looking for a strategic, creative problem solver who can influence stakeholders across the organization and lead high-visibility, high-impact programs end-to-end to deliver business results.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with Business and Technology leaders to execute the strategy for one or more key technology partnerships programs across the Mailchimp platform.
  • Drive multi-year, multi-phase technology partnerships program roadmaps across multiple contributing teams.
  • Develop program charters ensuring the scope aligns with business priorities.
  • Develop and deliver program plans that encompass all phases of planning, implementation, production readiness, GTM, and support, defining a cross-functional program structure.
  • Provide steady leadership in the face of uncertainty, change, and aggressive deadlines common to a rapidly growing company with an evolving business model.
  • Establish program operating rhythms leading cross-functional meetings and fostering teamwork.
  • Quickly and effectively identify and clarify the critical few issues and drive appropriate decisions and actions. Communicate results clearly and in an actionable form.
  • Communicate progress, report status, and provide relevant insights across organizational boundaries and levels from individual contributor to senior leader.
  • Manage and track program execution to ensure successful, high-quality, on-time delivery by working through risks, and interdependencies.
  • Promote collaboration and coordination across broad categories of Stakeholders.
  • Partner with business unit and integration product management, and product development leadership to identify benefits, short- and long-term trade-offs, and balance the needs of all stakeholders.
  • Anticipate, recognize, and work through resistance or setbacks independently, and work well with others when conflicts arise. See opportunities, ensure alignment with objectives, find common ground and promote understanding of alternative viewpoints before driving for closure and cooperation.
  • Partner with other Program Managers to define, socialize, and implement organization-wide processes.
