Staff Quality Engineer and Evangelist

We are currently seeking a talented and enthusiastic Staff Quality Engineer who shares our dedication to evangelizing quality as a core strategy. As a Staff Quality Engineer and Evangelist you will play a key role in championing quality across our organization. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to promote a culture of quality establish best practices and drive continuous improvement initiatives. You will leverage your expertise in quality engineering principles and methodologies to enhance product reliability performance and customer delight.

Compensation Expectations for the Role

Jane’s committed to paying our team members fairly clearly and above all paying for growth. This role has a minimum annual salary of $ 146400 and maximum annual salary of $ 228600 . As you may have noticed this salary range is quite large and this is intentional to account for the growth someone will experience in the role throughout their time at Jane (i.e. from building the skills to accomplished to highly proficient all the way to achieving excellence in the role). When hiring talented folks to join the Jane team we’ve found that new team members are best set up for success when hired with the expectation of being fully accomplished in the role which for this role would reflect a salary between $173800 to $182900.

It's also possible to join Jane at a salary above or below this which would mean a salary below $ 173800 typically reflects someone who has all the potential to be fully accomplished in the role but doesn't yet possess all the skills required while a salary above $ 182900. is typically for individuals who are currently in this role at Jane and had the opportunity to make a significant positive impact on our customers product and company with deep Jane knowledge. The experience we feel we need:

• A minimum of 5-7 years of experience in Quality Assurance within a fast-paced agile development environment that has experienced growth and scaling issues.

• Previous experience in a thought leadership role within a QA or development team deep experience in automated systems and best practices and a history of elevating a larger development organization quality posture.

• Demonstrable experience in designing implementing and optimizing QA processes and strategies to ensure product quality.

• Proven ability to select educate and operate quality technologies that align with our QA processes and technical stack.

• Cross-functional Communication

• Proven ability to communicate and educate effectively across various levels and roles of the organization from developers to senior leadership ensuring alignment in QA objectives and strategies.

• Strategic Vision

• The capability to transition the team from a tactical to a strategic mindset enabling a broader impact across the department.

• Problem-Solving Skills

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to identify issues evaluate solutions and implement the most effective strategies to meet quality goals.
