The Staff Scientist contributes to the research and development of innovative, market-centric products and analyzes customer data to build reliable and scalable cloud-based SaaS system for solving high-value business problems relevant to revenue and profit optimization.
What you'll be doing..

• Develop high-quality analytical algorithms (i.e. using machine learning, predictive analytics) with responsibility for programming, testing, and documenting.
• Build reliable and scalable modules to transfer business data to analytics data.
• Create and deploy new intellectual property to innovatively fulfill the needs of customers.
• Build cloud-based SaaS solution.
• Improve performance and efficiency of analytic software.
• Create and deploy new intellectual property to innovatively fulfill the needs of customers.
• Learns advanced programming techniques, elements of writing procedures/actions, and SAS development environment.
• Becomes versed in relevant analytical domain.
• Experiments with different types of algorithms and modeling techniques; develop prototypes of promising methods and conduct performance studies
• Creates commercial-quality implementations of algorithms and techniques for use in analysis and production.
• Learns to test code, write documentation, work with technical support, and give presentations.
• Develops sound judgment about software design and content.
• Communicates with management.
• Transfer client business requirements into a tangible product solution that addresses the specific customer requirements to ensure highest quality products and positively affect sales and client retention.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

What you'll bring to us...

• Bachelor's degree in computer science and engineering, or related engineering/analytical sciences field.
• Minimum of four years of software development experience in one or more programming language (C/C++, Python).
• Good understanding of containers, K8S, and cloud-computing.
• Knowledgeable in the fields of distributed computing, software performance enhancement and memory management.
• Database skills with RDBMS (SQL Server, MySQL, Oracle).
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and multitask.
• Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and Outlook.
• Ability to travel as needed.
