Your Role:

Work on a state-of-the-art simulation platform for the test of ADAS/AD features. Design/maintain vast number of high-fidelity scenarios that are scalable, real-life like, challenging and creative. Integrate simulation system with various closed-loop test environment such as SIL, HIL and VIL. Develop Virtual Environment, Vehicle Dynamics model, sensor behavior model under complex or rare scenarios. Integrate AD stack into virtual simulation environment. Develop ADAS scenarios with ML/AI algorithms to cover all edge cases. Apply ML/AI algorithms to generate scenarios. Take lead on scaled, headless simulation from Jenkins to AWS (EC2, S3). The responsibility includes developing S3 database pipeline (CI/CD), expertise in Kubernetes, Jenkins, AWS, EC2, S3, EKS, etc. Take lead on developing a state-of-the-art in-house simulation tool, including support for sensor modeling, vehicle dynamics and development of high fidelity graphical digital twins. Develop Virtual to Real simulation. Maintain ADAS Hardware-in-the-loop system. This includes complete closed-loop simulation with ECUs and sensors in the loop. Participate in DFMEA, functional safety of ADAS domain (HW & SW). Develop/maintain/enhance test automation for ADAS and Infotainment domain. Develop test plan, test cases for ADAS AD stack. Collaborate with other development and test teams to ensure production quality of AD system.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or closely related field and 3 years of work experience in the job offered or closely related occupation. As an alternative, employer will accept a master’s degree or foreign equivalent in Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or closely related field and 1 year of work experience in the job offered or closely related occupation.

Must possess expertise/ knowledge sufficient to adequately perform the duties of the job being offered. Expertise/ knowledge may be gained through employment experience or education. Such expertise/ knowledge cannot be "quantified" by "time." Required expertise/ knowledge includes:

• Top-notch C/C++/C#/Python skills
• Vehicle Dynamics Modeling, Sensor Modeling
• ROS/ROS2, docker image/container
• Develop test strategies/plans/cases
• Headless simulation in the cloud
• ADAS sensor modeling (radar, lidar, camera, USS)
• ML (Machine-Learning)/AI algorithm
• MLPerfr, Linux Test Project
• Industry experience in creating simulation/scenarios (virtual environment) for ADAS/AD, report generation and scaled testing – IPG Carmaker or similar
• Autonomous Driving and Simulation
• Familiarity with popular game engines of car racing, and automotive simulators
• Ability to write technical documentation.

Annual Salary Range:

($112,819 - $194,500 per year DOE), plus benefits and incentive plans
