About the Role
The Athletic is looking for an energetic, motivated writer who is able to conceive, report and write unique, revelatory NBA stories. This is a national role covering the NBA as a whole, though previous NBA reporting experience is not necessarily a prerequisite. Storytelling and vision are a must.
This role is open for either a Staff Writer or Senior Writer depending on experience.
This is a remote position based in the United States or Canada.

Requirements
The annual base salary range for this role is $95,000.00 - $150,000.00 USD. The total compensation offered for this position may vary based on factors such as education, experience, skills, and location. It may also include non-cash rewards and benefits. The base salary range is subject to change and may be modified in the future.
