What will you do?

• Design, develop, and maintain automation test suites for large-scale distributed systems.
• Perform scale, performance and security tests for large scale data systems.
• Work closely with development teams to understand system architecture and functionalities, ensuring comprehensive test coverage.
• Implement automation testing frameworks and tools for continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD) pipelines.
• Conduct thorough testing for databases, Kubernetes (k8s) environments, orchestrators, schedulers, networking, and other backend systems.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify, report, and troubleshoot software defects.
• Stay on top of the latest industry trends in software testing and introduce innovative testing techniques to improve product quality.
• Mentor junior SDETs and contribute to the development of best practices within the team.

What are we looking for?

• Bachelor's or master's degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field. 
• Minimum of 8 years of experience in software development and testing, with a focus on automation systems for large-scale backend platforms. 
• Fundamental knowledge of backend systems, including databases, Kubernetes (k8s), orchestrators, schedulers, and networking. 
• Proven track record of working in large-scale product companies, with a strong portfolio of successful projects. 
• Expertise in programming languages such as Javaor Python. 
• Experience with CI/CD tools (e.g., Jenkins, GitLab CI) and test automation frameworks. 
• Excellent problem-solving, analytical, and debugging skills. 
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, capable of working effectively in a dynamic team environment.
