Galileo Financial Technologies, LLC seeks Staff Software Engineer in Sandy, UT:
Job Duties: Develop life-cycle design from project requirement to deployment. Automate and improve
data exchanges and data pipelines between internal and external teams. Write, test and deploy
efficient, scalable code to production that impacts millions of individuals. Track project performance
against defined milestones/goals. Conduct process improvement projects to increase performance in
vital program metrics. Develop and apply advanced technologies, engineering principles, theories, and
concepts. Telecommuting is an option.
Minimum Requirements: Bachelor’s degree (or its foreign degree equivalent) in Computer Science,
Engineering (any field), or a related quantitative discipline, and four (4) years of experience in the field
of software engineering/program analysis or four (4) years of experience in the job offered.
Special Skill Requirements: (1) SQL; (2) Linux/Unix; (3) Python; (4) Agile methodologies; (5) Test driven
development; (6) Test automation; (7) SDLC; (8) RESTful WebServices; (9) Requirements analysis; (10)
Amazon Web Services (AWS); (11) Docker; and (12) Microservices. Any suitable combination of
education, training and/or experience is acceptable. Telecommuting is an option.
