Staff Software Engineer

Integral Ad Science (IAS) is a global technology and data company that builds verification, optimization, and analytics solutions for the advertising industry and we’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our team. As a Staff Software Engineer you will play a key role in the design, development and support of a cloud-based suite of services supporting multiple partners and data models. You will work side-by-side with highly skilled and motivated software engineers, data engineers and data scientists to deliver this high priority and strategic solution. 

What you’ll get to do:

• Architect, design, build, and integrate our product offerings
• Lead the entire software lifecycle including hands-on development, code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation, in addition to mentoring the team
• Partner with the Product team and other stakeholders across the company to understand product requirements, gather business and technical requirements from broadcaster clients, and research and develop solutions, including API development
• Manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, exciting, collaborative environment

• BS in Computer Science, or related STEM degree
• 7+ years of hands-on full-stack programming experience using Java 
• Demonstrated experience with microservices architecture
• Expert knowledge of Java and (collections, multi-threading, JVM memory model, etc.)
• Knowledge of HTTPS, HLS and/or DASH protocols
• Experience partnering with Product and other high level stakeholders across the company to meet business deliverables
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
