Staff Software Engineer

Integral Ad Science (IAS) is a global technology and media quality company that builds verification, optimization, and analytics solutions for the advertising industry and we’re looking for a Staff Software Engineer to join our Fraud team in product engineering. As a Staff Software Engineer you will work side-by-side with highly skilled and motivated software engineers, data engineers and data scientists to detect and mitigate fraudulent activity. You will build and expand upon the frameworks and infrastructure of IAS’ core ad verification, analytics and anti-ad fraud software products.

The ideal candidate has a track record of architecting and building end-to-end software solutions, enjoys working in a collaborative and agile environment, and brings innovative solutions to complex problems with a desire to improve the status quo.

What you’ll do:

• Contribute to the entire software lifecycle including hands-on development, code reviews, testing, deployment, and documentation for Fraud decision systems

• Develop and maintain software components / infrastructure for analyzing ad impressions and detecting fraudulent activity

• Work with AWS native technologies, using CI/CD, and Agile methodologies

• Manage multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced, exciting, collaborative environment

You should apply if you have most of this experience: 

• Bachelors or Masters in Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical Engineering or related field

• 5+ years of hands-on JavaScript experience including related development tools and frameworks such as HTML, CSS, DOM, TypeScript

• Expert knowledge of AWS, NodeJS, and NPM

• A working knowledge of scripting and object-oriented programing languages such as SQL, Java, Python

• Experience with Agile Scrum development processes and tools such as Jira and Confluence

• Understanding of full software development life cycle using Agile development and continuous integration & deployment

New York Applicants: The salary range for this position is $116,900 - $200,400. Actual pay may vary based on experience or geographic location.
