Staff Software Engineer

PTC is looking for a highly skilled Staff Software Engineer with expertise in React-Native to join our innovative team. If you're passionate about mobile development and have a desire to grow into leadership, this could be the perfect next step in your career.

Key Responsibilities:

• Lead Mobile Development: Play a key role in architecting and developing cutting-edge mobile applications using React-Native.
• Full Mobile Release Lifecycle: Manage the end-to-end mobile app development process, from initial design to release on both iOS and Android platforms.
• Cross-Platform Collaboration: Work closely with our product, design, and backend teams to deliver a seamless user experience.
• Mentor and Guide: Offer mentorship to junior engineers, elevating their skills and ensuring best practices are followed.
• Contribute to the Full Stack: Although the role is primarily focused on mobile, full stack development experience (Node.js, GraphQL, etc.) is a plus.

What You’ll Need:

• 5+ years of experience in React-Native development, with a proven track record of delivering high-quality mobile applications.
• Experience with the complete mobile release lifecycle (design, development, testing, release, and maintenance).
• Native iOS and Android development experience (Objective-C, Swift, Java, Kotlin) is highly preferred.
• Familiarity with full stack development is a plus (though not required).
• Strong understanding of mobile performance optimization, app store submission processes, and versioning best practices.
• A desire to grow into leadership and help shape the direction of our mobile engineering efforts.

PTC carefully considers a wide range of compensation factors, which include a candidate’s background and experience, in determining salary for a position. Compensation will vary based on these factors, but PTC anticipates the salary range for this position to be between $170,000 - $190,000. The actual pay may be lower or higher depending on a candidate’s skills, qualifications, experience, and location and may also include the opportunity to earn a discretionary bonus. Additionally, every PTC employee has the opportunity to become a PTC shareholder through our employee share purchase program which allows employees to purchase discounted PTC stock and, for eligible roles, an equity grant.
