Have you built systems that help customers understand how people are using their website? Do you want to solve interesting problems like what do you do if a customer creates one page per bird species and it creates more aggregation buckets than your system can handle? Then come join us!

We're a small team that owns the ingestion and aggregation platform that powers HubSpot's website analytics features.

People who will succeed in this role have:

• Worked on large data sets using streaming technologies like Kafka or batch processing technologies like Spark
• Applied data structures and algorithms solutions at the level of a distributed services architecture
• Maintained a critical production service

And more generally, Staff Software Engineers at HubSpot succeed by:

Cash compensation range: 218900-328400 USD Annually

The cash compensation above includes base salary, on-target commission for employees in eligible roles, and annual bonus targets under HubSpot's bonus plan for eligible roles. In addition to cash compensation, some roles are eligible to participate in HubSpot's equity plan to receive restricted stock units (RSUs). Some roles may also be eligible for overtime pay. Individual compensation packages are based on a few different factors unique to each candidate, including their skills, experience, qualifications and other job-related reasons.
