The Impact U will make:

• You will report to our Engineering Manager of the Platform Data team
• Commit to your team’s Diversity, Equity and Inclusion goals created in our DEI Unqork Application 
• Focus on providing uniform access and data management capabilities for the Unqork platform
• Address Unqork's data concerns ranging from security and compliance to performance and reliability
• Help to lead and contribute to the platform's data concerns around providing various data capabilities
• Contribute to improving the performance, flexibility and scalability of the platform from a data perspective

What U bring:

• 8+ years of professional backend engineering experience
• Experience steering projects of increasing scope and complexity
• Ability to set technical and cultural standards for engineers
• Strong knowledge of shipping impactful and complex software projects
• Proficient in data modeling, normalization, query and indexing strategies
• Experience with NoSQL databases (we use Mongodb), REST and/or GraphQL
• Experience with any mainstream backend language
• Experience with various cloud storage providers and services is a bonus
• Experience developing using TDD/BDD is a bonus

The US base salary range, across all Unqork US locations, for this full-time position is $147,800 - $253,400 + bonus + equity + perks/benefits. An individual employee’s salary within the range provided above depends on a wide array of factors including, but not limited to, the working location, role, skillset and level of experience of such employee. Please note that the salary range reflects the base salary only, and does not include bonus, equity or perks/benefits.
