Staff Software Engineer

JOB DUTIES: Deliver efficient, maintainable, and robust enterprise solutions in a microservices environment. Design and implement intuitive, maintainable, responsive user interfaces using golang, kafka, postgresql, and implement object models for our microservices and expose them via a GraphQL API. Maintain and integrate with existing applications by implementing new features and fixing defects. Collaborate with peers on designs, code reviews, testing, and UX/interactive designs. Build prototypes used to collect user feedback in order to iterate through design choices. Develop automated tests across the full stack, complete with code-coverage metrics. Deliver efficient, maintainable, and robust golang based microservices. Produce designs and rough estimates, and implement features based on product requirements. Produce unit and end-to-end tests to improve code quality and maximize code coverage for
new and existing features.
JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor's degree in Applied Computer Science, Computer Applications, Information Systems, Software Engineering (or foreign equivalent), or a related field and 5 years of experience building complex enterprise software solutions. Five years of experience to include use of modern object-oriented programming language in Java or C#; and experience in relational database management systems: Postgresql, Mysql, or Microsoft SQL. Three years of experience to include building, deploying, and operating web-based software applications in a cloud hosting provider: AWS, Microsoft Azure, or Google Cloud Platform.
