Staff Software Engineer (New York, NY) Execute on a variety of software engineering projects and applications. Determine software systems’ performance standards. Modify existing software. Deliver technical projects of large scope. May work remotely from any U.S. location. (Multiple openings) Requires: Master’s degree in computer science or closely related field; and 6 years experience in any job title w/ duties involving software engineering and/or software development. Requires expertise in: web development using JavaScript, CSS, and HTML; design, management, and optimization of PostgreSQL databases; integration of Node.js, React, and Redux into web applications; REST and GraphQL APIs, including designing, implementing, and optimizing API interactions; version control using Git; ticket lifecycle management using Jira; unit testing utilizing Jest, Enzyme, and React testing library to ensure code quality and reliability; and crafting and optimizing backend processes to enhance overall system performance and scalability.
