Mission

We are building the best in class CLOB Perp DEX on Monad.

Make history developing the world's first truly decentralized fully on-chain perpetuals exchange, built around a high-performance Central Limit Order Book! Others have tried or claim to have done this, but they implemented on application chains or use techniques that skirt the bounds of decentralization theater.

We're building on Monad, a performant block chain designed from the outset for high-performance decentralized finance applications. Our team has a legacy of interesting Dapp and DeFi firsts; highlights include:

• World's first decentralized mobile messenger, featuring group chats and Publishing Dapp integrations
• Anonymized push notification system allowing protocols to communicate with address holders anonymously
• Deployed an ultra gas-efficient Time-Weighted Automated Market Maker protocol on Ethereum L1

Staff Software Engineer (Frontend)Summary

We build gas efficient fully decentralized exchange (DEX). We’re looking for a Frontend Staff Software Engineer who enjoys architecting and creating the desktop and mobile interfaces that are the face of our DEX.

You will be an important member of our company, making history contributing to the development of the first fully decentralized perpetuals exchange built around a Central Limit Order Book (CLOB), entirely on an EVM chain!

You will report directly to the CTO, architecting and implementing our desktop and mobile clients.

Although this project centers around a blockchain system, previous experience with blockchain is not a hard requirement. However familiarity with trading interfaces would be a strong benefit.

Responsibilities

• Architect and implementation of desktop and mobile clients. Specifically:
• Building frontend features
• Ensuring a responsive and reliable experience
• Integrating with backend endpoints and data streams
• Work cross functionally with the Backend team, Graphic designers, and Product Designers to enable a complete end-to-end solution that is fast, intuitive and reliable.
• Mentor other frontend team members on engineering best practices.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of frontend engineering experience.
• Experience architecting and developing desktop and mobile user interfaces.
• Prior experience:
• Shipping product and writing production grade code.
• Working with CSS, Typescript, React & React Native, Redux or React hooks or other languages, frameworks and state management libraries suitable for realizing user interface products.
• With the use of Websockets and REST APIs within user interface clients.
• Able to break down large tasks into smaller sequential components, sharing common components where possible with related projects.
• Experience leading cross-functional efforts to launch products.
• Excellent oral, written and visual communication skills.

Bonus Points

• Past experience working in consumer technology and startups
• Interest in financial technology or trading
• Knowledge of EVM, DEXs, Perpetuals, and other novel DeFi primitives
