Staff Software Engineer - Generative AI

Overview:

We are looking for an experience Staff AI Software Engineer to contribute to the design, development, and implementation of AI-driven solutions at Blue Yonder. 
The focus of this role is building AI agents that work alongside our customers helping them further optimize their supply chain operations. 
As a key player in the Blue Yonder AI Innovation Studio, you will work on cutting-edge projects that push the boundaries of Generative AI and machine learning in the supply chain and retail domains. 

The ideal candidate loves to code with a passion for innovation and problem-solving. This is not a research role.
 
 
What you will do: 

• Rapid prototyping of AI agents & gen AI experiences 
• Development of LLM-powered products 
• Implementation & maintenance of RAG pipelines
• Integrate AI solutions with our existing product platform
• Evaluate, measure and improve performance on a continuous basis 
• Apply & extend SOTA techniques across the full spectrum of gen AI 
• Collaborate, review, and improve engineering outputs 
• Stay on top of industry developments and experiment with cutting-edge techniques 
 
 
What we are looking for: 

• Self-driven with the desire to take ownership and ability to work across the full stack
• Min 7+ years of software development experience, with a strong foundation in software engineering skills, design patterns, and building scalable systems is REQUIRED. 
• Extensive expertise in Python. Optionally TypeScript experience, along with proficiency in front-end technologies like React. 
• Proven track record of shipping products powered by LLMs, RAG systems, and/or AI agents is a plus
• Comfortability working in a startup environment embedded within an enterprise. 
• Passion for pushing the boundaries of AI and a commitment to staying at the cutting edge of industry trends and technologies.
