Overview:
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Staff Software Engineer II with a strong focus on frontend and full stack development. The ideal candidate will possess expertise in various technologies, particularly React, Java Script, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), Adobe Engagement Platform, Real-Time Customer Data Platform (RT CDP), and Ecommerce solutions. This role requires a strategic mindset and hands-on technical abilities to drive innovation, scalability, and performance optimization across our digital platforms. The Staff Software Engineer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure exceptional user experiences, efficient code architecture, and effective utilization of cutting-edge technologies.
Responsibilities:
- Spearhead full stack development initiatives across our digital platforms, ensuring the delivery of high-quality code, optimal performance, and outstanding user experiences.
- Provide technical leadership to the design and implementation of scalable front-end solutions aligned with business objectives
- Design and implement responsive and performant user interfaces using React and Material-UI.
- Continuously drive front-end performance and user experience enhancements through best practices and innovative solutions.
- Review weekly customer behavioral metrics/ reports for effective communication with stakeholders.
- Lead efforts to scale infrastructure and optimize application performance to handle increased user loads and provide seamless digital experiences.
- Drive SEO performance initiatives and implement best practices to enhance visibility in search engine results.
- Implement best practices to elevate overall user experience, focusing on speed, interactivity, and visual stability.
- Oversee and drive improvements of Core Web Vitals metrics to enhance website speed, interactivity, and visual stability, thereby elevating overall user experience.
- Develop and execute data-centric strategies aligned with business objectives, utilizing tools like Google Analytics (GA) and Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) for performance measurement and enhancement.
- Utilize analytics data to extract actionable insights and identify trends from extensive datasets, facilitating informed and strategic decision-making.
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers, to deliver integrated solutions that meet business goals effectively.
- Design and implement responsive and performant user interfaces using React and Material-UI.
- Integrate and optimize web applications within Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) environments.
- Develop and execute data-driven strategies that align with business goals, leveraging Google Analytics (GA) and Adobe Customer Journey Analytics (CJA) to measure and optimize performance.
- Use GA and CJA to extract actionable insights and trends from large data sets to drive informed decision-making.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and backend engineers, to deliver integrated front-end solutions that meet business goals effectively.
Qualifications:
- 8+ years in software development with a Computer Science degree or equivalent.
- Extensive experience in designing, building, and optimizing data pipelines and systems, with a deep understanding of user experience and design systems .
- Proven ability to lead and mentor a team of front end and analytics engineers, providing guidance, support, and fostering a collaborative and innovative work environment.
- Mastery of programming languages such as React, Angular, Python, Java, along with expertise in Nodejs and PHP.
- Proficiency in building ecommerce websites and optimization strategies, including schema design, indexing, partitioning, and performance tuning.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to effectively communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders. Proven experience collaborating cross-functionally with data scientists, analysts, and business stakeholders.
- A strong drive for staying updated on emerging front-end technologies and trends, coupled with a commitment to continuous improvement in front-end development processes and solutions.
Benefits:
Salary Range for California Residents Only: $157,030.00 to $212,000.00
Pay is based on several factors including but not limited to education, work experience, certifications, etc. In addition to your salary, Blackhawk Network offers benefits including 401k with employer match, medical, dental, vision, 12 paid holidays in the year 2024, 1 hour of sick pay accrual for every 30 hours worked, parental leave, life insurance, disability insurance, accident and illness insurance, health and dependent care flexible spending accounts, wellness benefits, and flexible time off for all full-time employees.
