Our Oracle SWE is responsible for detailed requirements analysis, software design, development, testing, and deployment using Oracle SOA Suite , Oracle BPEL, AWS , and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI). As our newest Staff Software Engineer - Oracle , you will be working with the Engineering, Salesforce, Data, and QA teams along with stakeholders to create enterprise-scale, high performing, and well tested business applications. What you'll do:

• Design, develop and unit test high performance web services on Oracle SOA 12c, AWS and/or other technologies as per the business needs.
• Perform hands-on solution design, solution architecture, architecture roadmaps, prototyping, proofs-of-concept, and development tasks as required in support of current and new projects
• Ensure solution is scalable and meets overall business requirements
• Experience with multiple software delivery lifecycle methodologies such as - Agile, Waterfall
• Conversant in a broad range of technical topics including - integration, master data management, user experience

What you'll bring:

• Experience in designing robust error handling, auditing and logging frameworks.
• Familiarity with Oracle SOA administration , Support , installation and configuration, performance tuning, backup and recovery methods in multiple computing environments
• 6+ years of overall experience in developing, maintaining, and supporting integration applications using Oracle SOA Suite and AWS .
• 5+ years of experience in Oracle SOA Suite and Oracle Data Integrator (ODI) development involving complex integration scenarios.
• Expertise on Integrations with SFDC , AWS and other Cloud applications.
• Experience with automation scripting in cloud infrastructure, preferably AWS .
• Expertise in developing new APIs using REST and SOAP Web Services .
• Very strong experience in implementing error handling, rollback and notification features in the SOA solutions
• Must have worked with source control versioning tools like GIT, CI CD tools such as Maven, Jenkins, etc.
• Good knowledge in configuration, Parameter Tuning, Performance monitoring and troubleshooting of Oracle SOA, Oracle OSB and AWS API's.
• Familiarity with testing tools such as SoapUI and Postman.
• Must be capable of working independently or in small to large project teams with minimal inputs.

The quoted salary range represents our good faith estimate as to what our ideal candidates are likely to expect in the listed locations. We tailor our offers based on the selected candidate's experience, industry knowledge, technical and communication skills, location and other factors that may prove relevant during the interview process. All ranges are location based, ranges for positions in other locations may vary based on the local market.
Salary Range for select office locations:

• Santa Clara $162,700 to $237,700
• Westlake Village $155,300 to $225,300

Pay-for-performance is a key element in our strategy to attract, engage, and motivate talented people to do their best work. Accordingly, offers extended for this role will include an annual bonus target typically expressed as percentage of salary. Similarly to salary, annual incentive bonus targets are set based on a variety of factors including job level, competitive market practice, experience, tenure, and essential skills.
